Review : Derma roller Philippines

hey guys!

Today I have a review on Derma Roller, specifically from the philipppines

so first things first..

1. my skin condition and why I need it.

I've been struggling with acne for years until NOW, it became worst last 2 years ago and everytime a pimple pops it left a remebrance those tiny crater type ice pick scars, and if your from the philippines then you would know that the weather and temperature does not help, it is hellish hot and humid here, making my condition worst.

2. anyway, my skin type is Oily and Sensitive.

3. DERMA ROLLER

So I found this thru ElaineMokk and RealAsianBeauty from youtube, both were also struggling with acne and they did a review on this needling treatment or Derma Rolling, specifically from the Brand BANISH, so after a bunch more reviews and videos

I finally bought one.

It's from https://dermarollerphilippines.com
price: 1,999 pesos basically 2,000 pesos
delivery: 2 days after I ordered (MANILA LOCATION)

It came in a bubble wrap, Everything was SEALED and COVERED

I ordered PACKAGE A which has an ACNE LEMON SOAP, 2 VITAMIN C SERUM and the DERMA ROLLER (0.75 needle)

4. USING IT

direction of using it (myway)

1. wash and clean your face (free from any makeup or cream or whatever)
2. dip your roller head in alcohol for 10 or more minutes
3. dry it off
4. roll away

WARNING: DO NOT ROLL OVER ACTIVE ACNE OR PIMPLE (it will spread bacteria)

WARNING AGAIN: GRAPHIC CLOSE UP PICTURES

so this is before and After rolling

Left Side

Chin

Forehead

Right Side

as you can see above My scars are pretty bad, it's uneven and some are really dark and red, aside from that is I have a bunch of active pimples.

so after rolling and putting on the serum
my face was really red and felt hot, and my scars is more obvious thou after a few more minutes the redness did fade.

RESULTS:
after 2 sessions
(I do it every other week)
Week 4

VERDICT:
to be honest I really don't see a difference, I was gonna do an every week thing result but I didnt bother cause there wasn't much of a difference, and I was breaking out more...(thou I think that part was my fault cause I have a very bad sleeping pattern).

I'm actually on my 5th session next week, and 3rd month of trying the product.
I'll continue using it for a while to give more chance..

The Lemon Soap and the serum was both just fine, it wasn't irritating or anything.
thou the soap does melt quite fast so I recommend cutting it into 3 to 4.

anyway, you guys be the judge.

Do you see any difference?

I'll give an update soon if there's been any changes or not..

Wish me luck.
Cross fingers for the better
End.

Review "Plain to Confetti" OMG and SASSY Nail Polish

hey guys,

What a Great Day for a Saturdate 😊 so today my sister and I bought some nail polishes

and It's all from Watson
this are from the brands OMG and SASSY

From left: OMG (Cocoa, Piano, Platinum Glitter, Colorless)
Price: 32.50-34.00 Pesos

With Flash, From right: Sassy (Nude, Coffee Brown, Tan, Touch of Gold)
Price: 22.00-25.00 Pesos

my plain to confetti Art

 1. Sassy "Tan" as base
2. Sassy "Touch of Gold" for accent 1
3. OMG "Piano" for accent 2
4. OMG "Colorless" as top

I've used only 1 coat for each color and I like how Opaque it is with that one coat
I tend to go for neutrals when my nails are this short and the color compliments my skin tone perfectly, I've used about 5 bottles of "Tan" already (a favorite)

the consistency is easy to apply it's not to thick or wateryπŸ‘

+Super Affordable compare to the other brands! πŸ‘ŒπŸ‘ŒπŸ‘Œ

Verdict: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 /5

Depression attack

hi guys! it has been a really really long time..

and today I just felt like writing something..

so earlier this afternoon, I was home alone and I decided to just watch some random episode of How I met your mother while doing my PowerPoint presentation for my thesis(which by the way didnt go far) so I came across this episode where Robin thought she was pregnant with Barneys but when they went for a check up, it was false alarm and so they were celebrating and all because they're both glad it wasn't true cause they know they weren't ready, so everything fine.

then the doctor called back Robin to tell her that she CAN'T have a child..

and it was at that moment, you see how Robin was smiling cause it was never in her plan to have a kid but it her eyes she was hurt and confused..

It was one thing to "WON'T" do something to "CAN'T" it was a world of a difference.

nothing is constant that's what I learn in this life, one thing may change to another, and it includes our resolutions, opinions and choices. To know that there's that LIMITATION, that you don't get a choice, is what hurts.

I felt strange for a minute, then I went sad, then just all out depressed.
I remember all those times I was limited to do something. to not be able to make a choice thou I wanted so badly, to know that even if I'am the owner of my own life, there are still thing I can't control in it..

end.

How 'CHEESE IN THE TRAP' should have ended

hey guys!!

I know Ive been MIA but school been really hectic and I've been really lazy too.. so sorry..

MOVING ON...

so Ive been hooked on CITT since its early teaser and promotion. even when they were just selecting cast, I was one of those people who got hyped up and attached because of the plot,
I didn't even know the manhwa.. I was that CLUELESS..
But when It started to air, I 'religiously' followed and watched every single episode, Also I started reading the manhwa which was also AMAZEBALLS!. I don't think I've ever been this addicted to both manhwa and live version of a story , I usually get bored by either one. But this was a good story.

To summarize:
"The prince on a BLACK horse"
because it's that romantic story where there's this perfect guy and an ordinary girl that meet and fall in love, but with a TWIST.

so anyway the drama version went downhill from ep 14, well I'm okay with them giving focus to Inho's story but Jung was just DISAPPEARING! and then it happened that "FREAKING ENDING"

This is my reaction on the cheese in the trap ending

"WTF?!!!!!!!"

like come-on, right?! you're seriously giving everyone a definite happy end , but Seol and Jung was just like pooff?! I mean they're LEADS!! what happened?!

SO THIS IS MY TAKE ON HOW IT SHOULD HAVE ENDED: (fanfiction time)

EPISODE 16:

AFTER 3 YRS...

(after the final scene where it showed that Jung finally reads the emails Seol sent)

note: under fictional time let just say some things happened and she didn't see the emails

next day..
Hongseol was having problems with work, Its the same stuff like when she was in college ...
being a chief (leader) in a team where there was a 'Sangchul', a 'Minsoo' and a 'Dayoung'..
being stressed and all she went out of the office to get some fresh air, to get away from everything in there.  she stopped by a convenience store remembering when she saw Jung practicing peeling that triangle kimbap.. she just smiled..went in and bought herself some coffee.. on the way back she passed by a park and she came to another stop .. she didn't know why...but it felt like a good idea to seat and think in one of the bench..

as she was seating, she had her head bowed down ..

breathing....

In...
Out...
In..

then.. footsteps....

a man approached her...
she first saw his shoes..

then she heard his voice...

"do you want to have lunch with me?"

heartbeat..*thump.. thump.. thump*...

She was startled,

she slowly raised her head and saw Yoo Jung smiling brightly..

only shocked registered her eyes then...........

he reached out his hand..

still the shock wasn't subsiding..

she stared her wide confused eyes..

Seol thinking to herself: Is this a Dream?

Sunbae's smile was fading and his hand is slowly retracting ..

she was hit by reality..

Seol: This is not a dream...

and Immediately... she reached out and held on to Yoojung's hand and smiled brightly..

She standed up and they started to walk away without letting each other go..

*fade in the background*

END...

I know its pretty simple.. but should'nt they atleast give this much of a reunion?!..

and I just love that first episodes where Jung was always chasing seol for a meal..

It was such a damn good drama from ep 1 to 13.. I'm so disappointed in the issues and that finale.....

sigh..

and they even made a special episode which was 'ARGHHHHH' a compilation of some bts and ep1-16

note: the manhwa hasn't ended yet, and from the news, it will have a different end,. I'm just hoping for a better one...

Oddsquadscanlations: has it translate from season 1 to season 3 chap.61.

END...

cr. picture were mostly from google.. not mine

Today I almost Died?!

similar to my situation just a Tad  more closer.. because I was literally an inch away from the side of the jeep

today i almost die.. why you ask..

here's the back story..

It was a scorching hot Monday morning I was on my way to school to enroll for this semester, I was in a hurry because my friend was waiting for me, as I was riding the jeep my mind just flew of to somewhere and I went pass my stop without realizing, I hurriedly shouted "PARA" (stop) as soon as I got back to reality but the jeepney just stop in the middle of a road, where cars and jeeps just go flying! and there it was as soon as I got off and making my way to cross the road, a jeepney a few inches from my body Almost hit me if my reflexes wasn't fast enough to take a step back I would have been hit because there was no sign from the jeep stopping,, I was so scared I almost cried but keep it within me because it was no place to be emotional,, I hurried and carefully checked the roads before continuing to cross,, my heartbeat went up to the point of palpitating

There are really moment like that where one finds itself on the edge THAT really terrifying moment where life just flash before your eyes and it scared me,, what ifs question came flooding..

what if I didn't made that step back
what if as I step back another car would hit me from behind
what if I died
what if it did,,
what would happen to my parent investment in me all that love and care just gone like that..

what if....... what if.....

end..

MAPUA GUIDES

HERE ARE THE CONS OF BEING A MAPUAN(based on my 4 yrs experience)

1. "ANG DALI LANG PALA SA MAPUA" - that's the no.1 misconception, you may think its true when you take the entrance exam and you pass all the programs offered in this school but your WRONG..

TRUTH: It's easy to enter in this school but the question is "WILL YOU STAY?"
the subjects are so hard to learn in just 3 months compared pag semestral, and sometimes it doesn't just based on your performance but on your professor.. in other words DAPAT friends kayo ng professor kasi may mga prof na pinapasa ung kakilala nila kahit di naman passing ung grades. ang masakit pa dun ung iba ang tataas ng grade sa exams pero TRES lng "3.00" din ang average same as dun s mga pumasa lng ..

2. "MAS MABILIS MAKAGRADUATE" - if your good and you wont have any failing subject but if you do fail, just know that FAIL means= DELAY,

NOTE: MATH COURSE: offered each and every term
MAJOR COURSE: offered based on the curriculum, in other term: kung bumagsak ka sa major course, kailangan mong maghintay na magopen ung course na yun(it may be next term or next year BASED dun sa curriculum nung next batch) or kung madami kayong bagsak let say 15 kayo(kasi yun ung minimum) pwede kayong paopen ng class, kaso mahaba yung process, kailangan mo pa kasing ipa-approve sa dean ng department ng course na kailangan mo at kung may available slots, sila ng bahala sa schedule nun (including the Professor and Classroom) pero kung hindi, Kailangan mo pang maghanap ng Professor na handang tumanggap dun at classroom n gagamitin as well as yung schedule (day and time)

3. "SLOPPY SYSTEM" - nakakalito at nakakapagod na processing systems.

Mapua has adapt a modern technological system for years kung baga "PRIDE" na nila, lahat computerized, pero in terms of processing I feel that they failed, ang dami kasing proseso ang daming paper works,,  at nakakpagod maglakad ng paper works..

Paper works: pagpapalipat at pagpapa- add ng section, pagdadrop, completion of incomplete grades at etc...

NOTE: online student site(mymapua)
dun mo makikita yung grades, payment history, curriculum at schedule mo you can also use it to process your payment for tuition fees

PROS OF BEING A MAPUAN

1. you get to be called a 'MAPUAN' - there's a lot of pride to uphold with just being called that, It symbolize that you a strong person to survive studying at that Institution cause it's one of the best,

MAHIRAP SA MAPUA at kung pinili mong magstay (aba matinde ka!) it means that your a survivor, hindi madaling pagaralan ang isang subject in just 3months let alone ipasa. very advance yung mga turo which is such an advantage when you step in to the real world.

2. FACILITIES - every room is equipped with aircon, projector and white board( sobrang laking bagay) i've entered others school and i felt a surge of pride with our facilities, yung iba kasi-- college na pero chalkboard parin yung gamit.

and they do provide water stations at every corner of the school(sulitin ang miscellanous--mag-igib ng tubig! :D)

may lockers which can fit a kid in (although for AR-ID-BE department students lang siya) kaya advantage kung may kaibigan kang taga department na yun pwede kang makilagay..[user] XD
price: 80 pesos per year (affordable).

wide range of sources (library)- mapua has a very in depth selection of book which a student can borrow and read anytime + WIFI all around the school.

*YOU DID PAY FOR ALL THOSE FACILITY (miscellanous)

3. COMPETENT PROFESSORs - professor are very knowledgeable in their subjects you can rest assured your in good hands, especially yung mga math and physics professor (halimaw sa galing magcompute) , although nakakadrain ng utak na halos 3-4 lesson ang tinatapos nila minsan a day you get to learn.

+COMPETENT STUDENT - there's a very helpful student advising program (it means pwede kang paturo sa kapwa studyante: halimaw din sila sa pagcocompute)

4. being GLOBALLY associated - there's a dozen of foreign student around the campus and you get to interact and acquaint yourself with them which is such an advantage cause not only do you enhance you english skills, you also learn about other cultures.

and there's an exchange student program.

5. free to be 'CREATIVE' lahat ng klase ng studyante pwede mong makita s mapua.. hindi kasi sila mahigpit sa looks ng isang studyante (no uniform to conform) basta syempre maayos at desente ung suot mo ( hindi kita ung kaluluwa mo s lalim ng cleavage: too much skin) ok lang kahit mag pink, blue or white hair ka (basta feel mo) or kung may piercing at tattoo ka,, pwede ding magdala ng guitar or games within the school basta hindi kayo makakaabala sa iba.

There's still a lot to say : but I'm sure you'll have your own experiences and discoveries of the other perks and con of being in mapua.

BIGGEST QUESTION: kelan ka gaga-graduate? ga-graduate ka ba? XD

GOODLUCK
